We’re David and Bec, the two of us behind the camera, and behind this whole thing.

What started as Rebecca’s business, R Pardy Photography, has always quietly been a shared space, shaped by long days, honest conversations, and a mutual way of seeing the world. Over time, it became clear that this work was never meant to be done alone.

Photographing together feels natural to us; an extension of how we move through life, side by side, noticing the same small, meaningful things.

Our approach is grounded in connection, not performance.

We’re not here to turn your wedding into a production, we’re here to observe it, feel it, and document it as it unfolds. David brings a steady, grounding presence; Bec brings intuition and emotion. With a background in art school and a deep love for art history, Bec is naturally drawn to light, composition, and storytelling in a way that feels painterly and intentional. That perspective, paired with her experience as a wedding coordinator at a local venue, means she understands not just how your day looks, but how it flows. She’s a hands-on problem solver, someone who can quietly fix, adjust, and guide when needed, while still keeping the focus on what matters most.

Together, we move seamlessly throughout the day, capturing both the quiet, fleeting moments and the ones that feel larger than life.

Outside of weddings, our life is a mix of slow mornings, music, and the kind of inspiration that quietly seeps into everything we create.

We’ve been engaged for just over a year now and are in the midst of planning our own 2027 wedding, which has only deepened the way we understand and approach this work. At home, we share our space with our three cats: Henry, Orville, and Pekoe, who are very much part of the rhythm of our everyday life. We both love film and storytelling, and David, a drummer & pianist, draws a lot of inspiration from music, artists like Radiohead, Mammal Hands, and Refused. All of it finds its way into how we photograph, intuitively, thoughtfully, and always with feeling at the centre.
